826 Boston

A dedicated non-profit transforming motivated students into professional authors and change-makers. An organization focused on tutoring, writing, and publishing, 826 Boston is more than an educational center; it’s a second home for students of all backgrounds allowing them to find their voice, think differently and be more. And what’s the outcome? Students as young as 5 years old become published authors. But how do we capture and share the essence of 826 Boston? Let’s take a look.

826 Boston campaign; Strategist

Task: Create a light-hearted and humorous campaign that speaks to donors centered around the concept “Why I Keep Coming Back”.

Insight: In a world full of asks, donors often feel wary. They lose trust, become skeptical, and are apprehensive. But when we speak to their strengths, we unlock their feeling of duty. Giving isn’t something they do. It’s who they are.

Outcome: Inspire donors by speaking to their value of community belonging. Produced two 30-second videos centered on concepts: “Why I Keep Coming Back” and “Said, Printed, Heard”. Showcased on social, website, and their annual gala.
